Cycling the Hoi An Countryside: Buffalo, Ducks and Rice Fields

The countryside around Hoi An is best seen at the speed of a bicycle. Our guide collects you at your hotel and takes you out to the quiet roads, rivers and rice fields.

A gentle ride

As you meander through the countryside you pass local people who greet you along the way, with beautiful views of the neighbourhood on every side. The pace is relaxed and the route is guided, so you can simply enjoy it.

Buffalo riding and the duck tour

Highlights include riding a buffalo and joining the duck tour, and stopping on the rice farm to take photos.

Then onto the water

After the ride you continue to Cam Thanh for a bamboo basket boat trip, net fishing with local fishermen and a Vietnamese meal at our restaurant. On the longer tour you also learn to cook four dishes.

Pick-up is available by bike or by car on request. Pick-up and drop-off is included in Hoi An; outside Hoi An a surcharge applies.
